Our Story

 

Idle Viking started when Paul and Jay were having a conversation while enjoying a glass of mead one Saturday in May of 2020. “Paul, I think you should ferment something.” The rest is history…well more like a beginning.

Then we started some serious R&D on how to scale up the recipes

“Well…. it smells like a meadery”

It worked.

We scaled up the recipes and it was a delicious success. Next, in late 2020 during the great global pandemic, we decided to find a location and start a meadery…
